The first in the Restoration Series by The Fogeys.

Believe it or not, this is what I say happened:
After a break in the heavy rain, I took a stroll down the Rivelin Valley to escape for a while, and enjoy the fresh post-storm air.
As I manoeuvre past my favourite tree, what should I spy but an LP sleeve poking out of the freshly agitated mud! Why, it must have been buried in there decades ago, and has only shown its face because of this deluge we have experienced. Thank goodness for the climate crisis, otherwise this relic of times yore might never had seen the light of day.

After corresponding with Prof. J. Ferraro, we have confirmed this record to be somewhere between 20th to 21st century in origin, and it features music emblematic of the transition between rock and roll and the harder sounds of the '60s.

Of course, being buried in the mud for so long hasn't done the vinyl any favours, so please excuse the poor sound quality.

Additionally, the second side of the record seems to have been vandalised and recorded over by somebody else. Luckily you can still hear fragments of the original come through from time to time.

I hope you enjoy listening as much as I did piecing this time-capsule back together.
