This EP consists of three tracks, all created on the DAW "Garageband". Hopefully the change in compositional ability is audible between year 10 and 11.
The first track suffers from poor knowledge of how to operate Garageband, and the hasty addition of synthesisers to create a melody instrument (otherwise it would've earned me an E...). I enjoy listening to it mainly because it was the first original composition I'd ever made, so there's a sort of naive creativity present.
The second track is much slicker in my opinion. Weeks and weeks of work were spent on this track. As well as being inspired by AC/DC and Black Sabbath like the first track, this one draws something from heavier metal, including Pantera and Slipknot, the latter influencing the use of drop-B tuning in places.
The third and final track pushes the heaviness to my limit at the time, creating some weird djent/groove metal hybrid.
